Galloway, Scotland History

Galloway is an area of southern Scotland that today is part of the Dumfries and Galloway region. It is made up of the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright, the Machars, and the Rhins. This database contains a history of Galloway from the earliest of times to 1861 (the time of publishing).
