About Charterhouse Register 1872-1910

Charterhouse, located near Godalming in Surrey County, is one England's many public boarding schools. It was originally located in London, but in 1872 it was moved to its present location by the headmaster Dr. Haig Brown. This database is a listing of all the individuals who entered the school between 1872 and 1910. In addition to the former student's name, each entry contains additional information, which may include an account of their career, birth, and marriage information and the father's name. At the end of the work are several appendices containing information on the head masters, scholars, school prizes, and athletics.
