Dr. Howard M. Relles and a dedicated a group of volunteers (listed below) compiled this database from the National Archives microfilms of the record books in which the ships' passenger lists were recorded. This database contains the names of 52,647 persons who arrived in New York City during 1891 and had listed their country of citizenship as Austria, Poland, or Galicia.
