This volume is a compilation of Irish pedigrees dating from the "Origin and Stem of the Irish Nation". The work details the genealogies of families found from this ancient stem as well as the genealogies of Anglo-Irish and Anglo-Norman families who settled Ireland from the time of the English invasion. The original records used to compile these family histories can be found in the archives and manuscripts of the Library of Trinity College and the Royal Irish Academy in Dublin at the time they were compiled.
