This volume both complements and supplements Reid's Marriage Notices. Mr. Wilson's marriage notices were extracted from the issues of the newspapers that were either overlooked by Mr. Reid or were beyond his years of coverage. The notices are arranged by newspaper and thereunder chronologically, and once again they furnish the date of the marriage, the names of the betrothed with their town or county of origin, frequently the name of the bride's father, and the name of the officiating minister. In all more than 10,000 persons are referred to in this important volume.
