This database contains a transcript of the baptismal and marriage registers of St. George's Chapel, in Mayfair, London, that were kept by Reverend Alexander Keith and his assistants. Baptismal records extend from 1740 to 1753, while marriages extend from 1735 to 1754. However, marriages performed by Keith at Mayfair Chapel are also included in this transcription and they range from 1728 to 1731. Information provided in the baptismal entries include name of child, parents' names, birth date, and baptismal date. Information provided in the marriage records includes names of bride and groom, name of parish to which each belongs, and marriage date. At the time of the publication of this work, the original registers were in the hands of the Rector and Churchwardens of St. George's.
